Qualifications
Enrolled in: 4th year of TMU Undergraduate Program or Law School
Overall academic performance at B+ (3.3 GPA) or above.
Must have completed course with B+ (3.3 GPA) or above grade level.
Previous evaluation of performance as an Assistant at the University (if applicable).

Experience:
• Preferred applicants will be either (a) graduate students (non-law school) or (b) J.D. / LL.B. students (law school) or law school graduate students - J .
D. / LL.B. student applicants and graduate student applicants from a law school will be considered based upon their law school transcripts and previous experience.
• All applicants must have the requisite educational knowledge base in the field of law and business. In particular, the successful applicant must provide evidence of superior understanding of the topic of “government regulation of business” and Law 534 related-topics.
• Applicants must submit (a) a writing sample on a law-related topic (750 words minimum – the writing sample must demonstrate superior legal knowledge and analytical ability), (b) a cover letter (one page maximum length) indicating specifically how the applicant is qualified for the position, (c) current resume, (d) academic transcripts and (e) previous evaluation of performance as a teaching assistant (if any).
• Only applicants selected for further consideration will be contacted. Applicants selected for further consideration may be requested to attend an interview. The interview may include an assessment of the applicant’s understanding of Law 534 related-topics.
