OverviewWorksite Safety Compliance Centre is expanding its instructor‑led training team for the CPO‑approved Working at Heights program. If you are a knowledgeable and experienced health and safety instructor passionate about working at heights safety, this role is for you.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and informative Working at Heights training to job seekers, the general public, and construction industry members.
- Evaluate participants through practical skills and written assessment.
- Organize, file and submit digital and hard copy participant records following training.
- Potentially deliver other courses such as Forklift Training, Mobile Elevated Work Platform Training, Confined Space Entry and Rescue and more.
- Participate in team meetings and instructor development workshops.
- 3+ years experience delivering training.
- Background in construction management and/or other fall hazard‑related industry.
- Work experience or certification in occupational health & safety preferred.
- Strong interest educating people on the importance and value of health & safety training.
- Self‑starter who is able to work independently while also contributing to a team.
- Strong presentation and adult‑engagement skills.
- Forklift, mobile elevated work platforms and confined space entry and rescue considered an asset.
- Valid Ontario’s Driver Licence – occasional travel by car for work.
- Able to legally work in Canada.
