JAYS CARE RBI SUMMER EDITION SITE ADMINISTRATOR

Jays Care is looking for Site Administrators to Support the engagement and care of youth (ages 6-13) in creative, fun, and dynamic activities during our Jays Care RBI Summer Edition program. Successful Summer Edition applicants will have experience leading recreational programs and working with children.

This position is part of our annual seasonal staffing needs. All interested applicants should be aware that this is an in-person role, employed by Jays Care with a seasonal fixed-term contract. Camp staff are expected to be present at their designated job site each day of their summer contract, as well as attend all mandatory staff training. RBI Summer Edition (July & August) runs distinct from .

Coaches hired for the Jays Care Spring program are eligible and encouraged to apply to work for RBI Summer Edition.

CONTRACT DURATION:
March 1, 2026 – August 21, 2026

  • 10-15 hours/month (March to May)
  • 24-40 hours/week (June)
  • 35-45 hours/week (July to August)
  • SALARY:
    The anticipated base compensation for this role is $23.00 per hour.

    WORK LOCATIONS:
    Assigned to one of our site schools within the TDSB (Toronto District School Board) (applicant will have opportunity to indicate location preference).

    Jays Care RBI Summer Edition Site Administrator will:

  • Serve as lead administrator on site for up to 50 staff and 200 youth
  • Ensure all administrative duties are effectively completed (i.e. participant information is up to date and safely stored, including attendance, staff time sheets, incident/accident reports, weekly challenges, etc.)
  • Assist with the collection of data from online feedback surveys
  • Manage and update supplemental participant forms (medical, travel, waivers, etc.)
  • Liaising with Jays Care office staff to assist with booking for travel and trip coordination
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping and collection of receipts for account reconciliation (e.g. late pick-up fees)
  • Assist with the distribution and collection of seasonal staffing administrative documents (general information, medical, forms, etc.)
  • Review material resources, protocols, and procedures to ensure accuracy and that we are meeting all health and safety measure
  • Connect with all registered families on an ongoing basis to develop rapport, address any issues and assist front-line staff with adjusting programming to best suit ages/needs/interests of participants
  • Inform program families of important dates and document all essential communication regarding parental and/or participant concerns
  • Assist with distribution of virtual and printed marketing materials
