- Remuneration: Level B from $127,000;
Level C from $155,000 base (+17% superannuation and leave loading) - Work Rights: Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must hold full rights to work in Australia.
The School of Health Sciences at UNSW is expanding its education agenda across the four core health professional programs:
Exercise, Nutrition and Dietetics, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy. This role places a strong emphasis on educational excellence, interprofessional collaboration and student professional development.
- Design, develop, and deliver undergraduate and undergraduate or postgraduate courses and programs across the health professional disciplines.
- Lead and support the development of students’ professionalism, innovation in healthcare, and career planning.
- Collaborate with all disciplines to enhance interprofessional education within the Faculty.
- Drive educational initiatives that uphold high‑quality teaching and learning standards.
Required at Level B
- Registration or accreditation as a health professional in Australia.
- PhD in a health discipline (preferred; significant clinical and education experience acceptable).
- Broad professional practice or education experience in multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to ongoing discipline knowledge and development.
- Experience in teaching and learning design, development, and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds, including equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Additional at Level C
- Significant experience in teaching and learning design using diverse pedagogical approaches and interprofessional education.
- Strong track record in curriculum development and improvement.
- Evidence of professional development in teaching and a proven record of teaching excellence.
- Demonstrated success in research—scholarship of learning and teaching—with high‑impact outcomes.
- Passionate about educational excellence and fostering that excellence in others.
- 17% superannuation and leave loading.
