Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in grading assignments
  • Proctoring final exams
  • Invigilate tests and exams as required
  • Hold tutorials and office hours
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:

    • MBA graduate with excellent knowledge of fixed income, Monte Carlo simulation, and MATLAB
    • Good understanding of joint loss distributions used in credit and market risk models
    • Experience in risk management required

    Class Schedule: Courses may be online or in person depending on circumstances; candidates must be available and comfortable with both.

    Sessional Date of Appointment: September 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025

    Salary:

    • April 14, 2025: $53.31 plus 4% vacation pay
    • September 1, 2025: $54.27 plus 4% vacation pay
    • January 1, 2026: $54.27 plus 4% vacation pay
    • September 1, 2026: $55.25 plus 4% vacation pay

    Notes: This job is posted in accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement. Some vacancies are tentative, pending final course determinations and enrollment.
