Reporting to the Principal or his delegate, and working in collaboration with teachers and resource teachers, you will be responsible for:

• Creating a supportive learning environment to help students meet their learning goals
• Understanding the diverse needs of all student groups
• Using appropriate study materials and resources that enhance active learning and motivate students
• Overseeing student progress by tracking assignments and providing useful feedback
• Planning course material and activities
• Building trusting relationships with students, parents, and staff

• Excellent French and English skills (oral and written)
• Certified teacher (OCT or equivalent) with a degree in education (B.Ed. or M.Ed.)
• Ability to teach in French (native level) and English conversation level B2 or higher
• Good knowledge of the French curriculum
• Experience as a teacher documentalist
• Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Ontario programs is an asset
• Teacher certification by the French Ministry of Education is an asset
