The Department of Medical Imaging, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto and the Joint Department of Medical Imaging (JDMI) at University Health Network, Sinai Health and Women's College Hospital invites applications for a full-time faculty clinical position as Radiologist in the Breast Imaging Division. The successful candidate must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto.
The anticipated start date is April 1, 2026.
The successful candidate will operate across all modalities in the sub-specialty of Breast Imaging, including mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, Contrast Enhanced Mammography, MR imaging, and image-guided biopsies. Educational opportunities are at the undergraduate, postgraduate and fellowship levels at the University of Toronto, Temerty Faculty of Medicine. There is an additional focus on inter-professional and inter-disciplinary teaching. Research activity will be expected in the field of Breast Imaging.
The successful candidate would be expected to actively participate in these academic endeavours.
Candidate must hold an MD degree or equivalent, must be certified in Diagnostic Radiology the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Board of Radiology, or international equivalent, must be eligible for medical licensure with the College of Surgeons and Physicians of Ontario, and have had formal fellowship training in Breast Imaging. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Compensation will be in accordance with the uniform average salary of a Radiologist (in the range of $300,000 - $450,000) in the Province of Ontario. Details pertaining to compensation for out-of-hours work to be discussed individually.
