We are seeking a full‑time academic paediatric Otolaryngologist – Head & Neck Surgeon to serve as the Department Chief. The effective start date will be September 2026.

• Lead the Department, ensuring the highest quality paediatric otolaryngology clinical care.
• Promote individual faculty research interests and drive collective research initiatives.
• Champion excellence in patient care services, education for clinical fellows and residents, and culture of quality and safety.
• Provide direct clinical care and participate in the emergency on‑call schedule at Sick Kids.

MD, MBBS or equivalent, board certified, and eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
• Established paediatric surgeon with an international reputation and a record of peer‑reviewed research.
• Academic rank of associate or full professor at the University of Toronto.
• Proven administrative and leadership skills, including management proficiency, dispute resolution, communications expertise, mentoring, and the ability to engender trust.
• Demonstrated academic excellence in basic or research, surgical education, quality and safety, or other academic pursuits.

The position offers a competitive compensation package within North America, including a base stipend, protected time for research, relocation support, and potential two‑term five‑year appointment.
