VP, Media

Our client, a highly awarded independent Canadian creative agency is looking for a senior media leader to build and elevate its media offering from strong to exceptional.

This is not a maintenance role. It’s a build role.

The agency operates with a deliberately lean, senior model. No layers. No bloated structures. Just experienced people doing the work. Creative, strategy and digital are already operating at a high level. Media is solid but under-leveraged and ready to become a serious growth engine.

This Toronto-based VP will serve clients nationally and lead the next phase of media growth.

This person will:
  • Build a brand-first, full-funnel media product that integrates seamlessly with creative and strategy
  • Lead media-driven new business and increase RFP volume in Toronto and nationally
  • Win media-only assignments and convert them into integrated agency relationships
  • Secure 6–8 new media clients, primarily in the $300K–$2.5M spend range
  • Bring more capability in-house over time, starting solo and building intentionally
  • Implement systems, process and reporting standards
  • Be outward-facing in the market and help elevate the agency’s media profile
