Senior Architectural Technologist

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Architectural Technologist to take ownership of projects across all phases of design and construction. This is a senior-level role requiring independent project leadership and sound technical judgment.

You will lead projects from design development through contract administration, ensuring design intent is upheld while maintaining technical excellence, coordination integrity, and schedule performance.

Following a three-month in-office integration period, this position offers a hybrid work model.

• Lead projects independently through permit, tender, and construction phases.
• Take accountability for drawing set integrity and internal documentation quality.
• Coordinate consultants while protecting design intent and resolving technical conflicts.
• Oversee comprehensive Revit documentation and QA/QC review.
• Develop technically sound envelope detailing suited to cold-climate construction.
• Ensure compliance with the Ontario Building Code and municipal zoning by-laws.
• Conduct site reviews and provide confident contract administration services.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients and consultants.
• Mentor and support junior team members as required.

• 10+ years of progressive experience within an architectural practice.
• Minimum 5+ consecutive years of advanced Revit proficiency.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects through construction.
• Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and municipal approval processes.
• Proven ability to manage consultant coordination and project risk.
• Solid understanding of building systems and envelope detailing.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Diploma in Architectural Technology.
• $80,000 – $95,000 base salary (commensurate with experience).
