Position: P3 DESIGN LEAD - INTERMEDIATE
Job Summary

The Intermediate P3 Design Lead will be responsible for leading the design team for P3 (Public-Private Partnership) projects pursued by our architecture firm with Infrastructure Ontario. They will work closely with project managers, technical experts, and other design professionals to develop design solutions that meet project requirements and are feasible within the P3 procurement framework.

The successful candidate will have a strong design background, excellent communication and leadership skills, and experience working on P3 projects in the infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design team for P3 projects pursued by our firm with Infrastructure Ontario, including managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables for the design team.

Collaborate with project managers, technical experts, and other design professionals to ensure designs are coordinated and meet project objectives.

Develop design solutions that meet project requirements and are feasible within the P3 procurement framework, including preparing design deliverables such as drawings, specifications, and documentation.

Present design solutions to clients, stakeholders, and project teams, and participate in business development activities like client meetings, proposals, and presentations.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project objectives.

Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve design processes.

Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in an architectural firm or related industry.
Experience working on P3 projects in the infrastructure sector.
Strong design skills with a portfolio demonstrating design excellence.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Professionalism, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality.
Effective team collaboration skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
Understanding of building codes, construction techniques, and materials.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually.
