Opportunity
Our Greater Toronto Area (GTA) architectural team is a key contributor to Stantec’s diverse industrial portfolio. This position reports to the Sector Principal for the GTA and collaborates closely with our principal‑led leadership team. We are seeking a dynamic leader to inspire, engage, and grow a culturally strong, high‑performing industrial practice in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design for commercial, industrial, and data center projects

Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams

Prepare deliverables across all project phases

Uphold Stantec standards for quality, safety, and project delivery

Advance in‑house architectural expertise and methodologies

Pursue continuing education to expand knowledge

Develop and maintain client relationships

Facilitate team and client meetings

Communicate project updates to leadership

Deliver engaging presentations, both written and verbal

Identify business development opportunities across disciplines

Collaborate on commercial and industrial pursuits

Develop winning strategies for RFPs

Engage in client contact, proposal preparation, and interviews

Key Capabilities and Credentials

Proven ability to lead all aspects of the project cycle—from briefing to substantial performance

Strong business development track record in data centre and industrial sectors

Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams with minimal supervision

Expertise in design, technical detailing, and construction documentation

Solid understanding of zoning bylaws and the Ontario Building Code

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience

Degree in Architecture;
Registered Architect (OAA preferred)

Minimum 15 years of experience in data centre and industrial building projects

Benefits and Working Conditions
Typical office environment with extensive computer use; field work may require travel and exposure to inclement weather. The role is full‑time based in Toronto, Ontario. No travel required.
