As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll envision and shape the future of Zipline by designing innovative mobile and AI experiences that seamlessly blend conversational interfaces, voice interactions, and emerging technologies. You’ll be responsible for crafting intuitive, delightful product experiences that feel natural and effortless, whether users are tapping, speaking, or exploring new modalities of interaction. Working at the intersection of design and AI, you’ll translate complex technical capabilities into elegant solutions that anticipate user needs and push the boundaries of what’s possible.

This role requires both visionary thinking about where interfaces are heading and meticulous attention to the details that make everyday interactions feel magical.

What You’ll Do
  • Envision the future of Zipline’s AI and mobile experience and bring it to life
  • Design end‑to‑end mobile experiences that solve the most complex customer problems with ease and delight
  • Iterate rapidly based on research insights and real customer feedback
  • Partner with product managers to shape product strategy and define requirements that matter
  • Plan, conduct, and analyze user research that drives breakthrough design decisions
  • Create high‑fidelity prototypes using the latest tools and techniques
  • Present compelling design solutions to stakeholders and champion your creative vision
  • Mentor junior designers and elevate the craft of the entire team
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience designing products people love
  • A portfolio showcasing end‑to‑end product design with exceptional mobile work
  • Experience designing AI products and voice interfaces (bonus points!)
  • Outstanding communication skills—you can rally teams and inspire stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of user‑centered design principles and when to break the rules
  • Expert‑level proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.)
Compensation:

At Zipline, we're committed to paying our team fairly, transparently, and in a way that supports growth. This role has a minimum annual salary within Canada of $106,900 CAD and a maximum of $160,400 CAD
. This role has a minimum annual salary in the USA of $120,000 and a maximum of $180,000 USD
.

The broad salary ranges reflect the growth someone will experience in the role—from developing skills to reaching expertise within their career level. We’ve found that hiring team members with the expectation of being accomplished in the role sets them up for success, which for this position on the USA band means a starting salary of $135,000 USD
. Within the Canadian band, $120,289 CAD
. Salaries below this point typically reflect someone with potential but still building the necessary skills, while salaries above are for individuals already excelling in the role, with a deep understanding of Zipline’s impact on customers, product, and company.

At Zipline, you’ll continue to have career development conversations with your manager to ensure your compensation grows as you advance.

Our salary ranges are determined by market, factoring in our revenue and employee size, paying competitively at the 75th percentile. In higher cost of living markets, we apply 5-10% multipliers on our ranges, depending on the location, to maintain competitive compensation
