We are seeking a dedicated Associate Optometrist to join our team in North York. This role offers practice and clinical responsibilities in a collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities- Ensure executional excellence and achieve winning results in partnership with management and store team.
- Demonstrate commitment to exceeding results through strong competency in KPI management and high accountability.
- Guarantee that the brand is recognized as the leading optical provider within the community.
- Operate as a successful stakeholder to all leaders within the organization and local market.
- Place the patient/customer first and deliver excellent service.
- Strive to exceed expectations on all KPIs.
- Convey a commitment to providing unsurpassed patient service through ensuring staff performs the following service processes:
• Address all patients/customers' visual lifestyle needs
• Recommend eyewear based on patients/customers' needs
• Explain each step of the eye exam; listen carefully
• Utilize available tools and visual aids to summarize and ensure patient understanding
• Communicate effectively the need for annual eye exams and ensure all patients are scheduled for their next exam
• Conduct services in accordance with protocol and accepted standards of care. - Ensure all patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
- Establish a positive doctor-patient relationship.
- Utilize and leverage technology to deliver unsurpassed patient/customer experiences.
- Maintain office systems and ensure state licensure in good standing.
- Provide effective training and guidance to team members.
- Deliver clear, motivating and constructive feedback in a timely manner.
- Create a positive culture linked to the corporate culture; identify what motivates each individual and direct conversations and actions appropriately.
- Encourage associate decision-making at the level closest to the patient.
- Maximize partnerships through leadership, participation, and involvement.
- Take pride in the appearance of the office.
- Maintain a safe working environment for all associates and patients.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
