Overview
Our client, a friendly neighbourhood dental office, seeks a Level I or II Dental Assistant/Receptionist who can be trained. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player who is dedicated to patient care.
POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS- Experienced Level I or II Dental Assistant
- Preferred someone that can help out at Front Desk and that has experience with Abeldent
- Danforth/Pape area (free parking)
- Mon to Thurs 9-5
- $25-30 per hour depending on experience and performance
- Assisting dentist during dental procedures, restorations etc in a General practice
- Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up trays
- Preparing dental materials and cements
- Pouring and trimming cast models
- Digital x-rays
- Providing patients with post operative instructions
- Mainly assistanting but helping at the front desk with booking appointments, dealing with insurance companies, recall etc using Abeldent software as needed
- Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
