We’re looking for a Senior Creative Copywriter to join our talented in-house creative design team to help define and evolve the Autodesk brand. This role plays a critical part in shaping Autodesk’s brand voice at a moment of transformation—for our company, our customers, and the industries we serve.
You’ll concept and write across brand platforms, campaigns, and cultural moments, working in close partnership with design, motion, marketing, and communications from the outset. You’ll help translate complex technology into clear, human stories—connecting what we make to why it matters.

Responsibilities
Lead brand storytelling across campaigns, narratives, and content systems
Set narrative direction for priority initiatives and creative workstreams
Translate Autodesk’s technology, products, and real-world use cases into meaningful, human-centered stories
Develop campaign concepts, messaging frameworks, and story arcs aligned with brand strategy
Partner closely with design, motion, production, and agency teams to bring ideas to life across channels
Collaborate with Product, Communications, and Marketing to ensure consistency, clarity, and impact
Steward and evolve Autodesk’s voice and tone across touchpoints and moments
Manage multiple projects with confidence, focus, and creative rigor
Contribute strategic narrative thinking to campaign planning and creative development
Minimum Qualifications
Have 6+ years of experience writing for brands, gained at a creatively respected agency and/or in-house at a modern technology company
Are a senior-level writer and storyteller with experience leading narrative strategy for brand and campaign work
Bring strong conceptual thinking paired with disciplined writing craft
Have experience exploring or applying AI-enabled creative tools or workflows—and strong opinions about how emerging technologies can support (not replace) human creativity, storytelling, and craft
Have fluency in product storytelling and connecting technology to real-world impact
Can work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and disciplines
Are comfortable partnering with creative, strategic, and business stakeholders
Know how to balance ambition with clarity, accessibility, and usefulness
Take ownership of your work and navigate complexity with intention
Have a refined sense of voice, tone, rhythm, and structure
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with design, manufacturing, construction, or media & entertainment industries
Background in editorial, long-form storytelling, or documentary work
Familiarity with integrated campaign development and brand systems
