As a Line Producer
, you will report to the Director of Video & Broadcast Production and work closely with our creative and business leads across the network, acting as an expert in the room on all things production. If you are a creative, meticulously detailed oriented and a multi‑tasker who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, then we want you to apply! Transparency matters to us.

For this role, you can expect a salary between $78,000‑110,000 annually, depending on experience. This is for an existing vacancy.

what you will do.
  • Advise on production approaches, including outlining budget parameters, unseen opportunities and production partners to execute on the creative. Build production budgets and detailed shooting schedules.
  • Hire crew, book equipment, and manage location scouting and logistics.
  • Work closely with directors, photographers, videographers, content creators and production team
  • Supervise shoot execution — ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe production days.
  • Track daily costs, reconcile petty cash, and produce wrap reports.
  • Liaise between the agency producer, director, and production partners.
  • Manage permits, insurance, call sheets, releases, and production paperwork.
  • Solve on-set challenges quickly and calmly.
  • Manage workflow from prep through wrap and cost reporting.
  • Be the production expert in the room from briefing through delivery by bringing innovative ideas and flair and partnering closely with internal teams.
  • Be creative minded, excited by the opportunity to produce groundbreaking work in new and inventive ways.
  • Be client facing and confidently work closely with client teams throughout the production process.
  • Entrepreneurial minded, continually looking for opportunities for process optimization, working closely with the Director of Production to find efficiencies across productions.
  • Be detail-oriented and meticulous with all logistical and financial aspects of production including project management, scoping, timelines, contract negotiations, cost tracking and reconciliations on budgets ranging from $10k‑1M+ confidently.
  • Have an extensive black book of contacts, both locally and globally, with experience working in different markets.
  • Passionate about production, innovative creative opportunities, new technologies and best‑in‑class work.
  • Mentor and foster growth within the production department
what you’ll bring to the table.
  • At least 5‑7 years of experience in line production across broadcast, digital & social video & photography shoots. Having agency & client facing experience is advantageous.
  • Post‑production knowledge is mandatory.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects on large scale broadcast productions.
  • Deep understanding of the local production industry, as well as experience and existing relationships in other markets.
  • Experience in negotiating vendor contracts including production agreements, music licensing and talent contracts.
  • Understanding of local union mandates like ACTRA / UDA - SAG experience advantageous.
  • Superb organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead, collaborate and be a valued and respected member of the team.
  • Experience mentoring junior roles, formal management experience is a plus.
  • Toronto‑based with flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines (when absolutely necessary).
