The Opportunity

Under Sunwing Vacations
, we are looking for a Social Media Content Creator to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Social Media Content Creator, you will amplify our brand across key social channels. With a combination of strategic vision and hands‑on creativity, you'll continue to evolve Sunwing's social presence into everyone's travel bestie and trusted financial advisor, creating engaging, platform‑optimized content that sets us apart in the travel industry.

You will work on the development and execution of multiple campaigns across our various brands and business priorities, as well as the ongoing management of our handles. You'll be instrumental in bringing our brand persona to life across Meta, Tik Tok, and You Tube in a light‑hearted and distinctive way.

The position reports to the Senior Manager, Social Media and will be located in Toronto, ON.

What You’ll Do
  • Conceptualize, pitch, shoot, edit and write, best‑in‑class social content that resonates with our audience and supports business priorities
  • Create thumb‑stopping and entertainment‑driven content that brings our brand persona and voice to life as the fun, trusted travel friend our audience turns to for inspiration
  • Develop and execute creative social media strategies that align with our brand objectives while pushing creative boundaries
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to support various brand and product marketing campaigns through social activations
  • Track and optimize content performance across key metrics including views, engagement rates, and community growth
  • Manage day‑to‑day Social Media content calendar that outlines the publishing schedule, thematic content, and key business objectives
What You’ll Need
  • You live and breathe content. You have a proven track record of understanding and creating entertaining, platform‑right content.
  • 2-3 years of experience in social media management and content creation for brands
  • Experience being on camera, including speaking to camera and creating voiceovers for social content
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and the ability to quickly adapt them for brand relevance in a fast‑paced environment
  • Deep knowledge of social platforms beyond best practices, including hands‑on experience with Meta Business Manager and Tik Tok Business Manager
  • Expertise in mobile editing tools & social monitoring platforms
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategy accordingly
  • You think outside the box and are always looking to tap into the next big viral moment
  • Previous experience creating content for travel/tourism brands an asset
  • Proven ability to build and engage online communities
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
