Conne Kt Film is a centralized hub for the film, television, and media industries, bringing industry resources and opportunities together in one place. By uniting job listings, grant deadlines, training programs, and events, Conne Kt Film helps creatives spend less time searching and more time creating.

We're looking for a Marketing & Content Coordinator to support our growing creative community. This is a paid freelance, part-time role with ongoing collaboration, ideal for someone who enjoys working across content creation, marketing, and social media in a creative environment.

You will collaborate with a team, helping plan, create, and distribute content across multiple platforms.

• Develop marketing and social media strategy and plans
• Create content ideas and scripts for short-form and long-form content
• Capture photo and video content (community events, festivals, interviews, behind-the-scenes, reels etc.)
• Edit video content and prepare assets for distribution
• Schedule and publish content across platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, You Tube, etc.)
• Manage social media activity: comments, DMs, community engagement
• Monitor media industry and social media trends, analytics, and platform updates to optimize performance
• Ensure all materials align with brand voice and storytelling goals
• Keep content timelines organized and deliverables on track
• Looking for new media outlets for exposure

• Social media
• Newsletters
• Events and community initiatives
• Support additional marketing initiatives as needed

• Strong written and spoken English (mandatory)
• French is a bonus, but not required
• Experience in marketing, content creation, and social media
• Proficiency in video production and photography
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and trends
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

• Familiarity with the film and creative industries
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Experience with Canva
• Video editing and graphic design experience
• Experience using social media scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar platforms)
• Experience with newsletter or email marketing tools
• Background in digital marketing, social media marketing, or content strategy

• A short introduction
• Relevant experience and portfolio (social media accounts, videos, designs, campaigns, etc.)
• Tools and software you use
• Do you speak both French and English? (nice to have but is not mandatory)
