We are currently hiring for the position of:
Responsibilities- Contributes to the Market Programming strategy by planning and delivering series‑focused initiatives, including Series Accelerator, Series talks at Summit, as well as the selection of series projects for the Project Market, IP Exchange and Innovation Hub
- Oversees programme ideation and scheduling under the guidance of Director of Market Programming and Creator Development
- Liaises with stakeholders to listen to pitches, identify and track notable speakers and session ideas
- Researches trends and drives innovation that reflects industry and creator developments with a particular focus on the series sector
- Conducts ongoing participant and guest outreach for possible participation in series programming
- Leads the submission review and selection process by ensuring participant and project criteria are being met and by sending initial invitations to confirm availabilities
- Builds expense budgets for partner programming initiatives and manages initiative budgets per programme
- Tracks participant and speaker fees, fellowships, hospitality, as well as programme expenses
- Oversees departmental and interdepartmental processes, including workflow and task assignments, R‑Matrices for Labs and speaker sessions
- Ensures accuracy with scheduling and logistics event builds for the team using Artifax, Trello, ROS, venues and room bookings, and tech requests
- Oversees the production of Labs, including pitches, meetings, talks and events during the market
- Liaises with and hosts stakeholders on‑site
- Prepares industry‑related Communications, including press releases, event descriptions, stage remarks, web and newsletter copy, and ensures they are ready for editorial sign‑off and distribution
- Compiles data for reports and presentations that will be shared with interdepartmental teams and external stakeholders
- Updates post‑programme surveys to gauge impact for programme improvement purposes and makes necessary recommendations
- Facilitates regular check‑ins with stakeholders to ensure programmes are meeting benchmarks
- Other tasks as assigned
- $60,000 – $80,000 annually

Location:
350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5 - Weekly in‑office requirements:
- Minimum 2 days (1st November – 30th April)
- Minimum 3 days (1st May – 31st October)
- Festival Office Requirements:
Full Time during Festival
- Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in the Canadian or international film industries
- Experience managing the planning, scheduling and execution of high‑level screen industry events
- Experience working with a film festival, preferably in a programming administration or production capacity
- Experience communicating with industry professionals and film creators
