Job OpportunityTVO Today is looking for a graphic designer to join our creative digital video team. We need someone skilled, versatile, and able to bring treatment suggestions, strong visual storytelling, and trouble‑shooter skills under tight deadlines. You will collaborate with producers and creators to develop imagery that aligns with project goals and current trends, while maintaining consistent quality and delivery across all graphic elements.
HowYou Will Make An Impact
- Design digital graphics for You Tube and social media, applying best practices and SEO for each platform.
- Stay current with graphic trends and apply them to projects.
- Use visual storytelling to enhance content engagement.
- Create new templates and graphical treatments.
- Work with the Executive Producer, Digital, and team members to execute the creative vision and ensure consistent quality.
- Manage multiple projects with varying timelines, scheduling and completing all required tasks.
- Troubleshoot and maintain in‑house graphic systems.
- Meet TVO’s editorial and production standards.
- University degree or equivalent post‑secondary education in Graphic Design or Media Arts.
- 3‑5 years of professional graphic design experience and proficiency with computer‑graphic software.
- Exceptional skill with Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, and other Windows art tools.
- Strong visual sense from concept through completion.
- A passion for visual storytelling using graphic design on digital platforms.
- Exceptional design‑ and typography‑skills.
- Experience in visual research, photography or videography is an asset.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Collaborative experience brainstorming with creative teams.
- Adherence to style guides and maintenance of a consistent project look and feel.
