Creative Strategist (Copywriter Background)

Base pay range
: CAD 80, per year (full‑time, hybrid Toronto).
Position Overview
This performance marketing role focuses on creating paid social video ads that educate and sell our injury recovery products. You will turn technical or clinical ideas into clear, persuasive messaging for everyday audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Use education + entertainment to sell our products.
- Write video hooks and scripts that sound natural on camera.
- Turn rehab, physiotherapy, and product concepts into simple, digestible ideas.
- Help people understand why a product works, not just that it works.
- Over time, write email and website copy based on proven video formats.
- Write short‑form and long‑form video ad scripts.
- Create hook variations, talking points, and content frameworks.
- Break down customer pain, objections, and skepticism into persuasive messaging.
- Direct shoots.
- Collaborate with creators and editors to ensure proper execution.
- Review performance and iterate until results improve.

Skills You Bring
- Very strong writing for spoken word / video.
- Solid understanding of direct‑response marketing.
- Good grasp of e‑commerce and conversion.

- Creative thinking and angle development.
- Comfortable writing for video, email, and landing pages.
Experience
- 5+ years in copywriting, creative strategy, or direct‑response roles.
- Experience in DTC, health, fitness, or rehab is a plus.
