The RoleThey are seeking a detail-focused Project Coordinator who can support multiple project teams by ensuring smooth communication, accurate cost tracking, and effective schedule management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives both in the field and in an office environment, balancing administrative precision with hands‑on site involvement.
The Responsibilities Service Coordination & Cost Oversight- Organize and oversee all service‑related activities across active job sites.
- Maintain thorough cost records for labor, materials, and equipment usage.
- Implement systems to track expenditure and provide cost analysis reports.
- Liaise with subcontractors and vendors to support timely service delivery.
- Conduct routine visits to assess construction progress and workmanship.
- Capture and document site updates using written summaries and photography.
- Prepare reports that clearly communicate status and performance.
- Review work to ensure compliance with plans, timelines, and safety requirements.
- Build and manage detailed project schedules using industry‑standard tools.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align milestones.
- Identify risks that may cause delays and recommend proactive adjustments.
- Communicate schedule updates to all relevant parties.
- Maintain essential documents including permits, change orders, and contracts.
- Act as a key communication link between clients, subcontractors, and teams.
- Support resource planning to ensure materials, labor, and equipment are available.
- Contribute to procurement efforts and vendor coordination.
- Host and participate in project meetings, providing consistent progress updates.
- A degree in project or construction management or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with digital document control platforms such as SharePoint.
- Familiarity with cost tracking and scheduling software used in construction.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of field operations and construction best practices.
- Confident communicator with strong written clarity.
- Able to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Logical thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Able to effectively manage disagreements and support issue resolution.
- Must reside in Toronto, Ontario.
- Available to visit project locations throughout the GTA up to half of working time.
- Capable of occasional travel to the United States.
- Valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation.
