Qualifications:
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in tunnel or underground construction.
Proven experience as a Superintendent, General Foreman, or Senior Foreman on tunnelling projects.
Experience with TBM, drill & blast, NATM, or similar underground methods.
Strong knowledge of underground construction safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schedules, and method statements.
Experience working on large infrastructure projects.

Your contribution to our company
Summary of Position
The Tunnel Superintendent is responsible for the day‑to‑day supervision, coordination, and execution of tunnelling works on the ATC2 Project. Reporting to the Tunnel Construction Lead, the role ensures that tunnel construction activities are delivered safely on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and regulatory obligations. This position plays a key leadership role in managing site crews, subcontractors, and plant while coordinating closely with engineering, surveying, safety, and quality teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Crew Management:
Assign tasks, supervise work, manage foremen, and handle worker concerns.
Safety Leadership:
Enforce safety protocols, conduct hazard assessments, lead safety meetings, and respond to incidents.
Operations Oversight:
Direct tunnel excavation (using TBMs, SEM/NATM), lining, and grouting.
Planning & Coordination:
Develop work plans, schedule shifts, coordinate resources, and liaise with engineers and management.
Quality & Budget Control:
Maintain quality standards, track costs, and manage project changes.
Reporting:
Document progress, prepare reports, and present submittals to management.
