Site Superintendent

Location: Greater Toronto Area

Type: Full-time permanent

Compensation: $110,000–$130,000

City Build Recruitment is partnering with a growing construction firm, to recruit a Site Superintendent as part of continued growth. This is a newly identified and more urgent need, driven by upcoming and active projects. Our client is seeking a capable, hands-on Superintendent who can lead sites confidently and work closely with Project Managers to deliver high-quality projects.

This role is well suited to an experienced Superintendent who thrives in dynamic environments and can operate with professionalism and finesse on complex or occupied sites.

• Oversee day-to-day site operations from start through completion
• Projects: 50% Stip-Sum, and then the other half fluctuates with CM and Design Build
• Coordinate trades, schedules, inspections, and site logistics
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project schedules
• Work closely with Project Managers to align site execution with project goals
• Communicate clearly with trades, consultants, and internal teams
• Maintain organized, professional, and efficient job sites

• Approximately 6–12 years of Site Superintendent experience (flexible)
• Strong background in commercial construction, including renovations and interiors
• Exposure to residential or industrial projects is an asset
• Not seeking candidates from purely civil construction backgrounds
• Experience working in occupied or logistically complex environments

• Well-rounded and adaptable leadership style
• Strong site presence and coordination skills
• Collaborative and communicative with Project Managers
• Comfortable managing multiple moving parts while maintaining professionalism
• Team-oriented mindset aligned with a small, close-knit organization

• Target salary range: $110,000–$130,000
