You as a Project Manager will:

Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent

Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.

Maintain transparent and regular communication with clients, management, and all project stakeholders, providing timely updates on progress, addressing concerns, and facilitating productive working relationships

Develop and control project budgets, prepare accurate cost estimates, oversee monthly progress billing, manage cost reports, and implement effective cost control measures to ensure projects maintains a positive cashflow

Create comprehensive construction timelines with clear milestones, continuously monitor progress, update schedules as needed, and implement strategies to mitigate delays

Mentor and support the professional growth of team members by providing guidance, sharing expertise, and fostering opportunities for career development within the project team

Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors and suppliers, evaluate bids, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support project schedules

Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated

Is this the right role for you?

You are interested in pursuing career opportunities in Austin, Dallas and West Texas.

You have an engineering degree and 8 to 15 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience working on large projects.

Experience in healthcare, higher education, and civic-governments projects is preferred.

You have a working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management and contract software.

You have the ability to confidently mentor and delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relations.
