We are a family with two wonderful young children: our daughter, age 6, is in Grade 1, and our son, age 3 (almost
4), has just started junior kindergarten. They are kind, sweet, and energetic, with a love for play, books, and story time. Both are naturally curious and enjoy learning new things. They have no allergies and are generally very well-behavedthough, like most siblings, they sometimes have little disagreements. Like many children their age, they can resist bedtime, but this is steadily improving.
At home, we speak English, with some French. The children are enrolled in French immersion, and we also speak some Arabic. Our daughter attends Arabic camp on Saturdays. As a family, we value cultural heritage, sports, music, being with family, and spending time outdoors.
At mealtimes, we eat together at the table and encourage the children to stay seated until everyone is finished, though we allow some flexibility. We try to avoid screen time.
