Analyst, Business Operations (current vacant position)

The Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for the end-to-end operations of one or more portfolios (~50M annual revenue). This role focuses on operational excellence, process facilitation, and business insights, while collaborating with internal teams to utilize standardized reporting solutions. You will report to the Canada Business Operations Lead.

• Provide strategic oversight for portfolios by analyzing weekly risk trackers and financial dashboards to identify and mitigate potential financial impacts.
• Partner with delivery teams to develop intervention strategies, ensuring margin protection and contract compliance.
• Lead risk review sessions with portfolio leaders, providing insights into engagement health, resource utilization, and financial performance.

• Monitor standardized operational workflows across client engagements to ensure consistency in the delivery lifecycle.
• Assist pursuit leads in maintaining sales, opportunity and staffing data integrity in systems.

• Act as a liaison with global services teams to resolve operational issues and clarify process.
• Translate global Slalom priorities into actions and execute them within your portfolios.

• Hybrid role - average two days/week on site

• 1-4+ years professional work experience
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with ability to distill information for an executive audience and make complex information easy to understand
• Financial aptitude
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply insights to operational decisions
• Experience using Microsoft technologies, including Excel, to track information, analyze trends, and support business decision-making
• Interest in identifying and driving process improvement

• Professional services industry experience
• Salesforce or similar CRM tool
• Experience using dashboards in Power BI or similar analytics tool

Hybrid/In office:
We are hybrid but there are expectations that if your team leader requires you onsite that you are able to meet those expectations/requirements.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the expected base salary pay range is $55,000 to $75,000. In addition, there is potential for an 8% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will depend upon individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
