Job DescriptionThe Director of Market Development will be responsible for leading the strategic growth and expansion of mineral processing solutions across existing and emerging markets. This role requires strong capabilities in strategic planning, market analysis, and collaboration with regional leadership teams to align global goals with local execution. The director will play a key role in identifying new market opportunities and industries while also driving sales growth in established markets through effective portfolio and sales strategy management.
Identify and evaluate opportunities for market entry into profitable industrial sectors within developing regions.
Design and implement comprehensive market entry strategies based on in-depth market research, competitive intelligence, and resource planning.
Define product portfolios and pricing strategies aligned with operational and supply chain capabilities to ensure business profitability.
Lead initiatives to grow revenue in current industries and geographies.
Partner with product management and R&D to ensure product offerings meet market demand and support strategic business goals.
Ensure consistency in sales strategies and objectives across all regional operations.
Facilitate cross-regional collaboration, sharing of best practices, and alignment on business development priorities.
Gain deep understanding of each industry’s specific needs, challenges, and opportunities to position solutions effectively.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBAor advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years in salesor market development in the mineral processing or related industrialsectors, including at least 5 years in a multi-regional leadershipcapacity.
- Strong strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding ofglobal market dynamics and cultural sensitivity in international business.
- Demonstrated ability todevelop and execute successful market expansion initiatives.
- Willingness to travelextensively, both domestically and internationally.
