*** Manulife’s Global Ethics Office is seeking a detail‐oriented and technologically savvy
** Senior Compliance Analyst** (Level
5) to support the enterprise Code of Business Conduct & Ethics (COBC) Program. Reporting to the AVP, Global Ethics Office, this role plays a critical part in maintaining a strong culture of ethics by managing conflict‐of‐interest assessments, supporting the annual COBC campaign and day-to-day operations, maintaining policies and training, and serving as a trusted subject matter expert to employees across the organization.

The ideal candidate combines strong compliance expertise with the ability to leverage modern technology to enhance program efficiency and user experience.

* Position Responsibilities:

** 1. Conflict of Interest Assessment & Advisory
* Work closely with the Conflict-of-Interest Review Team to review and assess conflict of interest disclosures which include outside business activities, business or personal relationships within the organization and any other potential conflicts submitted by employees.
* Conduct thoughtful follow-ups with employees, managers; and consult with other stakeholders, such as Human Resources, Employee Relations, Legal and Compliance, as necessary.
* Recommend approvals and appropriate mitigating controls.
* Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding the COBC and conflicts of interest matters.
* Provide clear, practical, and timely guidance while ensuring consistent application of standards across the organization.
* Maintain documentation of common inquiries to inform future guidance.
2. Annual COBC Campaign Support
* Support the migration from Convercent to EQS, ensuring platform readiness ahead of the annual campaign, including testing and creating new questionnaires.
* Support the planning and execution of the annual COBC launch, including training and attestation for all employees and members of the MFC/MLI Board.
* Collaborate with Corporate Communications to coordinate timelines and user communications.
* Monitor completion metrics, troubleshoot user issues, and facilitate training and attestation completion with internal stakeholders.
* Support annual testing activities for the COBC program and any applicable policies.
3. Training & Policy Maintenance
* Assist in the annual revision of the COBC policy, training, and any other related policies.
* Coordinate with content contributors to submit COBC policy updates, leveraging technology to streamline the process and simplify record keeping.
* Collaborate with the Training team to update the COBC training and perform testing.
* Assist with policy governance and maintenance on Global Policy Database.
4. Technology & Continuous Improvement
* Evaluate compliance processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for automation or simplification.
* Contribute to the roadmap for compliance systems for enhancements to improve compliance control and user experience.
* Support testing and change‐management activities for system upgrades.
* Keep abreast of emerging trends and regulatory changes.
* Assist in ad hoc projects or tasks as required with an opportunity to cross train and support other programs under the Global Ethics Office.
