Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Manager
Omits is a financial technology company building a modern multi‑currency wallet and remittance platform designed to make cross‑border payments faster, simpler, and more accessible.
Our initial focus is enabling seamless transfers between Canada and emerging markets, with expansion planned across multiple global corridors.
Omits is currently in the final stages of product testing and preparing for market launch. As we continue to grow, we are actively building relationships with banks, payment processors, fintech platforms, and infrastructure providers that will power the Omits ecosystem.

Role OverviewWe are looking for a Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Manager who will take ownership of identifying, engaging, and managing potential partners for Omits.
This role is responsible for actively progressing partnership discussions from initial outreach through to agreement and implementation.
You will work directly with the founder and leadership team to drive partnership discussions forward and help secure relationships that support Omits’ global expansion.
Key Responsibilities Partnership Development- Identify and research potential partners including banks, fintech companies, payment processors, and infrastructure providers
- Initiate and manage outreach to prospective partners
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with key stakeholders
- Present Omits’ value proposition and partnership opportunities
- Maintain ongoing communication with existing and prospective partners
- Track progress of partnership discussions and follow up regularly
- Ensure conversations move forward toward agreements and integrations
- Coordinate internally with product, compliance, and operations teams when required
- Support the negotiation and structuring of partnership agreements
- Help move discussions from initial contact through to execution
- Identify partnership opportunities in new corridors and markets
- Monitor industry trends and identify strategic opportunities for collaboration
- Maintain a pipeline of partnership opportunities
- Provide regular updates on outreach activity and partnership progress
- Experience in business development, partnerships, or growth roles
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to manage multiple partnership discussions simultaneously
- Experience in fintech, payments, remittance, or financial services is highly preferred
- Highly organized and proactive in managing outreach and follow‑ups
- Comfortable working remotely with a distributed team
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required. Candidates with relevant experience in business development, partnerships, or growth roles are strongly encouraged to apply.
