If you're passionate about technology, problem-solving, and customer experience, this role is for you!

The intern will join Interac’s Verified product team, working closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders. You will contribute to shaping product features, gathering insights, and driving key initiatives.

Please note: There are two similar but different Product Management Intern job postings available. Those studying computer science, business or engineering are strongly encouraged to apply to this role as the ideal candidate has technical experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the Product team in day-to-day activities with stakeholder groups (squads, sales, engineering, marketing, and design) to address product-related issues and concerns

  • Provide general support to the product roadmap, defining requirements, conducting product research, and assisting in squads to deliver corporate objectives

  • Assist with general product programs and initiatives, including participation in squad activities (sprints), documenting requirements, and contributing to the product roadmap

  • Analyze product dynamics and business needs and recommend prioritization of roadmap items

  • Conduct market research and analyze user feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements.

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to support product launches

  • Help track product performance metrics and analyze data to inform decision-making

  • Participate in user testing, gather insights, and make recommendations for UX/UI improvements

  • Research, analyze, and maintain information systems in support of the product roadmap using tools like Jira, Figma, and other product tools

  • Prepare documentation and conduct research as requested by the squad and/or product team

  • Document and communicate product updates to stakeholders

  • What You Bring:

  • Ability to conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather user feedback

  • You have a strong growth mindset – you're willing to work and learn outside of your main functional expertise to meet the goals of your team

  • Understanding that success is in the details – you tend to notice things that others don't

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, MS Teams) with a preference for working knowledge of Excel
