The Senior Coordinator, RIDE & RIDE North Events is an integral member of the Corporate & Community Partnerships Team, and plays a key leadership role in the planning, procurement, participant experience, and operational delivery of the RIDE(s) portfolio, that includes both RIDE and RIDE North, helping to raise over $22MM annually.

This role combines strategic event execution, vendor and procurement management, and cross-functional project leadership. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to own key operational streams — including merchandise procurement and accommodation strategy — ensuring delivery excellence, fiscal responsibility, and exceptional participant experience.

You are a proactive project manager who thrives in complexity, brings strong commercial judgment, and leads with accountability with an eye to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Event & Operational Leadership

  • Lead assigned operational workstreams across RIDE and RIDE North from planning through execution and post-event reconciliation.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and contingency strategies.
  • Serve as on-site lead for designated operational areas during event delivery.
  • Procurement & Merchandising Ownership

  • Lead end-to-end procurement initiatives for event merchandise including jerseys, apparel, and participant swag while developing quantity forecasting models aligned to registration trends and fundraising thresholds.
  • Support vendor sourcing, RFP processes, contract negotiation, and production timelines.
  • Oversee quality control, fulfillment coordination, and budget administration.
  • Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies while maintaining brand and participant experience standards.
  • Accommodation Strategy Leadership (RIDE & RIDE North)

  • Own the full accommodation strategy for both events, including venue negotiations, room block forecasting, and participant allocation processes.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for hospitality partnerships with all lodging partners.
  • Oversee participant communications related to housing logistics and manage risk mitigation plans related to capacity, attrition, and last-minute changes.
  • Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct regular reporting and analysis across procurement and merchandising activities - encompassing order tracking, product flow, vendor performance, and budget alignment - as well as key operational areas such as fundraising trends, participant retention, reward fulfillment, and accommodation utilization.
  • Analyze participant and operational data to inform year-over-year optimization and document and refine internal processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Provide general administrative support to AVP, Cycling Programs.
