Position: Business Analyst - Non-IT - 5
Our client, a top banking client in Canada is looking to hire Business Analyst - Non IT for their team with a contract for 6 Months with potential extension. Hybrid (2-3 days in office weekly) in Downtown Toronto

Project
: the team is working on an update to their Reconciliation processes. The successful candidates will be working to support the project from end to end of it's life cycle. The candidates would be working closely with multiple teams across bank including developers.

Typical Day in Role

Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies

Working to understand current processes and what will be effected during the implementation process

Responsible for relationship management working to establish productive relationships between various leaders, departments and partners across the organization.

Able to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities.

Gathers requirements from business units

Visualize information depending on the stage of the project

Perform UAT

Mapping out work flows

Verifying input data in correct

Solutions-oriented and ability to develop and create innovative solutions to critical business or organizational data issues

Strong analytical skills with amplitude for generating insights through an evidence-based thought process

Candidate Requirements/Must Have

Skills:

10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst

Prior experience managing project based work

Knowledge of Accounting processes

Prior Financial Institution Experience

Nice-To-Have

Skills:

Experience with Broadridge products

Experience with TLM or Duco

Soft

Skills Required:

Team Oriented (able to work as a team player)

Detail Oriented and Organized

Ability to work Independently

Education:

Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or another related field.
