Canada Basketball is the national sport governing body for amateur basketball in Canada. Located in Toronto, Canada Basketball is a not-for-profit organization with the Mission: “We aspire to excellence in leading the growth and development of the game at home, and in pursuing medal performances on the international stage” and Vision: “Recognized as a world leader in all aspects of basketball, and consistently reaching the podium in FIBA competitions and the Olympic Games.”

Length and Term:
The position will run from May to August 2026 (4-month term)

These are paid positions earning $17.60/hr. for approx 37.5hrs per week (hours dependent on program & position).

  • Knowledge of the Canadian sport system and the provincial and national basketball environments is an asset.
  • Bilingual French/English is an asset.

Role Overview

Canada Basketball is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the Business Operations team for Summer 2026 as the Partnership Marketing Assistant.

This role provides hands-on experience across corporate partnership servicing, product-based and Value-in-Kind partner operations, community partnerships, stakeholder hospitality and servicing and event and marketing coordination.

The Assistant will report to the Coordinator of Partnership Marketing and the Manager, Partnership Marketing and collaborate cross-functionally with Business Operations, Retail Operations, Domestic Development, and Content teams to ensure strong partner execution and delivery across all initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Corporate, Product-Based & Community Partnerships
  • Support planning and execution of corporate and community partner activations across domestic events, National Team training camps, workshops, and grassroots initiatives
  • Maintain and update master partnership tracking documents and deliverable grids
