Position: Product Manager, Advertiser Supplier Experience

Within Global Supplier Technology (GST), the Supplier Advertising team owns the strategy, design, engineering, go-to-market, and analytics of Wayfair’s Supplier Advertising offerings, a key part of Wayfair’s growth trajectory.
At Wayfair, Advertising empowers suppliers to boost visibility of their products and brands on our platform. One of the biggest growth drivers for advertising will be enabling tens of thousands of suppliers to set up and run effective ad campaigns regardless of their prior advertising know-how. The Supplier Advertising Experience team is responsible for the tools that advertisers and account managers use to drive that growth.
As the Product Manager in this space, you will own the discovery, definition, and launch of AI/ML-powered campaign management tools and experiences that make our supplier advertisers more efficient with every dollar they spend. On this highly visible team and important investment area, you will partner with user experience design, other PMs, business, and engineering stakeholders across our Supplier organization. You will work closely with Product, Design, Science, and Engineering leaders to create and execute the vision for a simple, scalable self-service campaign experience to drive the next wave of growth in our Supplier Advertising business.

What

You’ll Do
  • Partner with senior business and technology leaders to identify, understand, and solve the biggest technical challenges facing our growth trajectory.
  • Drive the vision for campaign management, including our insights and reporting experience which convey the impact ads have on suppliers’ business.
  • Translate advertiser needs into a clear product strategy and plan for your domain, build the associated business cases for each investment, and confirm results through dashboards, experiments, and post-mortems.
  • Define product requirements in collaboration with cross-functional and cross-department teams, including other PMs working on the advertiser experience, ad serving, and yield optimization teams.
  • Partner with engineering, other product managers, data science / machine learning, economics, analytics, and others to identify platform needs and pain points to inform the vision and roadmap across the advertiser experience pods.
  • Partner with the engineering team to drive timely and smooth execution by performing sprint rituals like grooming, planning and retrospective.
  • Drive go-to-market for your products in partnership with internal or external stakeholders.
  • Influence the evolution of Wayfair’s strategy for advertising offerings.
We’re A Match Because You Have
  • 3-5 years building software products at scale with measurable impact, ideally across multiple platforms or work streams.
  • Experience with advertising is preferred. Ideal candidates have also built / worked on advertising campaign management or B2B tools.
  • Track record of effective partnership with commercial, engineering, and machine learning / applied science to complete discovery and bring new products (0‑1) to market.
  • Ability to keep up in highly technical conversations to make key decisions and effectively communicate tradeoffs with engineers, designers, and machine learning scientists.
  • Ability to think and act both tactically and strategically (3‑6+ month horizon).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work with and influence senior leaders (Associate Director+) across various functional areas (business and tech).
