What is the opportunity?
In your role as Vice-President, National Accounts, RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM), you will have the opportunity to manage and grow the strategic relationships with Canada’s largest investment dealers and National Accounts partners. The Vice-President, National Accounts will represent the entire range of RBC GAM and iShares products. You will play a key role in driving business growth by supporting the execution of our National Accounts strategy and ensuring our products are effectively positioned within the market.

What will you do?
Lead relationship growth: Expand and strengthen ties with Dealer Head Offices and Platform partners, while identifying new growth opportunities
Develop Strategic Account Plans: Create and execute tailored strategies to maximize market penetration and growth
Drive marketing collaboration: Partner with firms to elevate RBC GAM’s presence through conferences, advisor training and virtual engagements
Bridge internal teams: Collaborate with internal sales teams and partners to align head office support with client objectives
Champion client needs: Act as internal advocate for National Accounts, ensure exceptional client experience and service delivery
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive trends and refine product positioning with actionable insights
Bilingual Leadership: Engage fluently in English and French to build relationships and trust across diverse stakeholders
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
Bilingual Fluency & communication
Skills:
Superior written and oral communication in French and English, strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Industry experience: 5 plus years’ experience servicing and proven relationship building success within the institution and/or retail investment industry.
Strategic Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of distribution and investment products (mutual funds, ETFs, alternatives, SMAs) in Canada
Leadership skills: Ability to influence internally/externally, manage multiple priorities and drive results under pressure
Credentials: Post-secondary diploma/degree, ideally in Commerce or Business Administration; CFA/CIM or equivalent
Nice-to-have:
CFA and/or CFA candidate or other professional designation (i.e. CIM/PFP)
Existing relationships with CIRO firm analysts, key decision makers and management
Knowledge and experience with private or public market alternative investment strategies
