About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our growing Product team. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Engineering, Design, and Operations teams) and our customers to become an expert on our customers and their needs, and in doing so, help design and deliver features that delight and provide value.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of product expertise in fintech and product acumen with a deep understanding of B2C SaaS and/or Fin Tech landscapes.

You will work in a highly collaborative environment while getting autonomy, ownership, and the ability to impact the entire product. Strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize, and the ability to use data to guide you through product analytics tools like Mix Panel/Sigma will be critical to the success of the role.

Please note that this is a hybrid role that will require at least 2 days a week in our downtown Toronto office, a few blocks from Union Station.

Responsibilities
  • Help define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Execute on product roadmap with design and engineering teams.
  • Be the voice of the user and their champion in representing their needs and prioritizing development with biggest impact on user.
  • Explore solutions, creating and validating hypotheses via A/B tests.
  • Dive into user feedback/data to understand user behavior, identify points of friction and opportunities for improvements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Designers, Product, and Engineering to iterate on features development.
Must Have
  • Engineering, CS, or similar quant/technical background.
  • 2+ years of professional experience at a tech startup, ideally a B2C fintech, as a product manager.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to inspire and align cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, with a track record of delivering projects on time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in user research and behavioral analytics, including tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics.
  • Experience setting up feature experiments, following through to measure the impact.
  • A deep curiosity in understanding customer pain points. e.g., Why do they use the product? What are their problems? What are the barriers to value?
Nice to Have
  • Direct experience working in the US Fintech landscape.
  • Experience bringing a product from concept to launch, including go-to-market strategy, packaging, pricing, and enablement.
  • Experience managing feature development for a mobile app.
  • SQL proficiency for data querying and analysis.
