Responsibilities
  • Own the entire product strategy & roadmap for Model Portfolios 2.0, this linkage between financial planning and portfolio construction.
  • Deeply understand the needs and perspectives of investment advisors, financial planners (CFPs), investors (clients), and portfolio managers through interviews, journey mapping, and other forms of direct and indirect research.
  • Define clear requirements (product briefs, backlog) for tools to gather the needed data points, translate them into an optimal portfolio allocation, and communicate that back to the advisor and/or investor in a way that promotes comprehension through powerful visualizations.
  • Lead delivery with Engineering and Design to ship high-quality features on time.
  • Bring data/AI to design and ship AI-assisted workflows (e.g., summaries, recommendations, next-best-actions), including defining evaluation criteria, guardrails, and feedback loops.
  • Measure impact and adoption using product metrics (usage, financial outcomes, advisor satisfaction, client satisfaction).
  • Align and communicate with stakeholders across Portfolio Management, Compliance, Marketing, Operations and others on priorities and releases.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally in Wealth Tech or Fin Tech.
  • Experience working in or around portfolio construction/management, financial planning, and wealth or asset management.
  • Proven track record of owning a product/area end-to-end: discovery, definition, delivery, and go-to-market.
  • Demonstrated experience taking ideas from early concept to MVP or full launch.
  • Ability to design and run experiments that validate product direction.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset: able to define metrics and make data-informed decisions.
  • A big plus if you have experience working on or with AI-powered features (e.g., LLM-based copilots, recommendations, or intelligent alerts), including some exposure to evaluation (offline metrics, user feedback) and model/feature iteration.
