Role DescriptionThis is a contract remote role for a SR&ED Consultant. The consultant will be responsible for managing and preparing SR&ED tax credit, conducting in-depth assessments of client R&D activities, gathering necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. The role also includes continuous monitoring of available funding sources, advising clients on funding opportunities, and working proactively to align funding application timing with client needs.
Qualifications- In-depth knowledge of SR&ED tax credit claims
- Experience in working with Software SR&ED Claim
- Experience in conducting detailed assessments of R&D activities and gathering documentation
- Strong understanding of government regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in defending SR&ED claim in case of CRA audits
- Proficiency in advising clients on available funding opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Science or a related field
- Experience in the advisory or consultancy industry is a plus
