ROLE:
The Commercial Planning Manager leads regional weekly & monthly forecast submissions for share / industry / volume and annual budget cycle. Their responsibilities cover a range of strategic and operational functions aimed at optimizing the company’s overall performance. This role encompasses forecasting, supply chain coordination, budget management, performance analysis, and process improvement. By balancing these responsibilities, they contribute significantly to the company’s ability to deliver high-quality products to consumers efficiently and effectively.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop accurate sales forecasts using historical data and market trends.
Work with sales & marketing to integrate market insights and promotional plans.
Develop plans for future production capacity & facility expansions.
Provide insights on market trends and competitor activities.
Job Qualifications and Competencies
University Degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
5–7 years of experience in CPG, preferably in a commercial, sales operations, or trade finance role.
Strong understanding of CPG commercial levers (e.g., pricing, trade spend, mix, distribution).
Ability to analyze data & develop forecasts
Skills in long term strategic planning and problem-solving
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects
Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Understanding of trade math (ROI, margin, markup, days inventory)
Ability to adapt to market changes and operational challenges
Commitment to process improvement and best practices
