Overview
Northbridge Financial is hiring a Benefit & Pension Specialist. The Benefit and Pension Specialist provides administrative support in the day-to-day management of employee benefits and pension programs. This role ensures accurate processing, record-keeping, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The position serves as a point of contact for employee inquiries, assists with enrollment and changes, and supports audits and reporting activities.
The focus is on maintaining data integrity and delivering timely, efficient service to employees and internal stakeholders.
If you are great at:
- Participate in the review of all benefits and pension programs, including monitoring of trends, best practices, utilization and cost/benefit analysis to recommend opportunities for enhancements, balancing program efficiency with a continuous improvement mindset and delivering high service levels.
- Oversee the group flexible benefits plan, ensuring timely and efficient program operation.
- Oversee the annual re-enrolment process for the flexible group benefits plan by working closely with internal and external parties to ensure smooth execution and optimal results.
- Oversee the defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans, ensuring they are market competitive, cost-effective and appropriately positioned for today and in the future.
- Liaise with benefits providers to resolve benefits administration issues as required.
- Participate in the design and implement major program changes, campaigns and drives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to pensions and benefits.
- Assist in developing communication materials for employees regarding benefits and retirement planning.
If you have:
- Leadership and credibility by generating a high degree of respect and trust to build and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Proactive Pension & Benefit Specialist with 2 to 4 years of experience administering total rewards programs.
- Experience/knowledge with flexible benefits plans and DC/DB pension plans.
- CEBS/GBA/RPA designation.

We’re committed to pay transparency and fairness. The base salary range for this role is $64,000 - $96,000, reflecting the expected base pay (not total compensation). Actual base salary may vary based on experience, skills, and alignment with the position. We’re open to candidates at different levels, so if this range doesn’t match your expectations, we’d still love to hear from you.
