Aecon is proactively seeking a Proposal Manager to join the Urban Transportations Solutions group to support future dynamic, transit projects in Canada. What You'll Do Here:
Occasional research and analysis of the industry to help identify market opportunities and prepare formal executives overviews and reports.
Review existing proposal/bid content, project work plans, and other relevant sources of information to extract relevant content.
Review and develop a detailed understanding of client proposal/bid requirements.
Develop proposal/bid calendars and responsibility matrices.
Create and edit proposal/bid templates, resume templates, project sheet templates.
Schedule and lead proposal/bid meetings.
Attend pre-bid meetings and post-bid debrief meetings and summarize results and lessons learned, and report back to the project/proposal team.
Manage and coordinate input from other partners.
Manage proposal/bid documentation through Aecon’s SharePoint portal.
Update key performance indicators (KPIs) dashboard, including proposal/bid pursuit status reports.
Develop formal presentations of proposals/bid and present directly to the client and/or Stakeholders.
Track and ensure timely completion of proposal/bid deliverables required from internal and external partners, including health and safety forms, proposal/bid forms, finance support letters, write-ups from various authors, etc.
Manage pursuit schedule and ensure adequate resource assignment.
Train, mentor, and develop proposal coordinators and assistants.
Perform compliance checks on all submittal documents.
Organize team reviews on behalf of the proposal management team.
Package and deliver final proposal/bid submissions on time.
Responsible for the management and oversight of Aecon’s formal submissions in response to RFQs, RFPs, EOIs, and Market Sounding proposals.
Occasionally prepare executive summaries and reports for Aecon’s Project Risk Committee (PRC) and Board of Directors.
Coordinate with Aecon’s internal graphic design team to develop critical proposal material, including: JV logos, identity guidelines and overall graphical imagery of the proposal/bid submissions.
Support additional content development for business development goals.

What You Bring to The Team:
Minimum 8 years of experience in major P3 Canadian proposal submissions.
Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
Advanced written and communication skills.
Ability to gather, synthesize, and effectively present technical information for a range of audiences.
Experience working in a fast-paced and performance driven setting where meeting deadlines in a timely and accurate manner is essential.
Excellent time management skills.
Knowledge of construction industry considered an asset.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft package including Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Project and Visio.
