Our public‑sector client requires a Junior Business Analyst (SAP Finance) to support financial systems and processes, partnering with business users and technical teams to document requirements, design SAP‑enabled improvements, prepare training and testing assets, and contribute to a smooth go‑live and sustainment.
Scope- Contribute to functional analysis and SAP Finance delivery, including:
- Documenting Business Requirements and Functional/Detail Requirements.
- Reviewing and refining business requirements with stakeholders.
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation (requirements, process maps, RACI, RAID).
- Creating test plans, training materials, and system documentation for internal and external clients.
- All duties listed in Scope above.
- Functional specifications for development objects.
- Test assets: test plans, test cases, use cases, user stories, scenarios, and results.
- Documentation for unit, functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and UAT.
- Process and configuration documentation; options papers for leadership decisions; key decision logs.
Must Have:
- Professional accounting designation or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent mix of education and financial management experience).
- 3–5 years in SAP Finance or related roles, including implementation and end‑user support.
- Municipal accounting experience or relevant private‑sector financial reporting background.
- SAP BA project experience across solution scoping, requirements, gap analysis, feasibility, functional design, testing, and production support.
- Strong grasp of financial principles and business processes.
- Exposure to financial controls and compliance within SAP (e.g., role design, approvals, audit trails).
- Familiarity with SAP business process repositories and configuration governance.
- Experience optimizing cross‑functional workflows using SAP‑enabled automations.
