We help Swedish companies enter new markets, understand market dynamics, identify local partners, appreciate the regulatory landscape, and build out their services or product offering.
Over the last year we have seen an increased interest from Swedish companies to enter and expand in the Canadian market and we believe that this interest will only continue to grow, it is a truly exciting time to join the team and the region!
As Associate at Business Sweden your job will encompass a diverse range of tasks within international management consulting.
The role includes both strategic, tactic and operational responsibilities such as:
- Collecting, analyzing, and presenting information and insights, which you will get from interactions with external stakeholders on the market
- Supporting senior colleagues in sales dialogues, by insight-driven development of new business opportunities as well as prospecting
- Preparing and arranging trade delegations, round table discussions and B2B meetings for Swedish companies
- Work with international teams to deliver projects that support our promotional activities and clients in their international business development
The role is based in Toronto
, but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the world, as required.

- Bachelor or Master of science in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent
- Recent university degree and 1-3 years of relevant working experience e.g. consulting, business development, internationalization
- Experience from multi-stakeholder projects, preferably in Canada
- Excellent skills in excel/ppt, specific certificate/ Driving projects within specific industry/area
- High proficiency in English, meriting with French or Swedish
- Have experience from living/working in other parts of the world
