Associate Product Manager, eComm Order & Inventory Management (15-Month Contract)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Product Manager for eCommerce Order and Inventory Management for a 15-month contract. In this pivotal role, you will help shape strategy, ensure financial integrity, and drive seamless product delivery within our dynamic fulfillment team. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to report key performance indicators (KPIs) and champion continuous improvement across our order and inventory management processes.

Strategic

Planning
  • Partner with senior management to define and execute the eCommerce order and inventory management strategy.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps and prioritize initiatives aligned with business goals and customer needs.
  • Guide the team in crafting data‑driven storylines and measurable outcomes.
Product Delivery
  • Collaborate with business, digital, operations, supply chain, finance, and customer service teams to ensure timely, accurate product delivery.
  • Develop solutions to optimize available‑to‑sell inventory, distribution center utilization, split shipments, automated ordering, and save‑the‑sale initiatives.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
Financial Integrity
  • Ensure accurate tracking of product costs across inventory and order management.
  • Work with finance teams to analyze budget variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs related to inventory and order management.
KPI Reporting
  • Define, track, and report on KPIs measuring order and inventory management success.
  • Create dashboards and regular reports to provide operational insights for stakeholders.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to identify improvement opportunities and inform decision-making.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as a liaison between product management, business, digital, operations, supply chain, finance, and customer service teams.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across departments for cohesive strategy execution.
  • Lead cross‑functional meetings to review performance metrics, address challenges, and brainstorm solutions.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (required).
  • 2+ years of experience in product management or eCommerce operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • AI literacy:
    Understanding how AI can optimize inventory, order management, and customer experience.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and financial integrity.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and budgeting processes.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Agile, PMP, AI) are a plus.
