- University Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of MRO procurement and Sourcing experience, preferably in manufacturing (tissue, paper, or related industries is a plus)
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with inventory management and ERP systems (JD Edwards, etc.)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proven skills in office tools such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Power BI etc
- Ability to present to small and large groups
- Proven ability to lead projects
- Results-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Sourcing and procurement of MRO supplies, spare parts, and services to support plant operations and maintenance
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to ensure cost savings and supply continuity
- Identify and qualify new suppliers; evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery
- Process Purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve discrepancies or supply issues promptly.
- Oversee invoice management and ensure timely payment processing
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and safety standards
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and other departments to understand MRO requirements and priorities
- Drive cost reduction, process improvement, and reliability initiatives related to MRO procurement
- Maintain accurate records and manage MRO data within the company’s ERP or purchasing systems
- Maintain and develop costing models using tools such as excel, Power BI, etc.
- Handle international sourcing including managing tariffs and cross border receiving/shipping, etc.
- Draft Contract and Supply agreements for MRO parts and Services
