Overview
The National Sales Analyst serves as the key reporting resource for the Sales and Marketing organization, owning the creation, maintenance, and distribution of critical reports that track sales performance, budgets, inventory, and distribution. As the central point of reporting, the analyst delivers accurate, timely, and actionable insights that guide strategic decisions, supports new reporting requests, develops innovative solutions, and continuously improves processes.
Primary Responsibilities
Generate, analyze, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly business and supplier reporting tools.
Monitor and track sales performance across regions and sales channels, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to guide strategic decisions.
Manage reporting tools that track budgets, inventory levels, and distribution metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Conduct maintenance and data cleansing on internal systems to ensure reporting accuracy.
Continuously evaluate existing reporting tools and processes, identifying efficiencies and implementing improvements to enhance usability and impact.
Lead point of contact for data analysis and other analytical support for sales and marketing teams.
Perform ad‑hoc analyses and requests as required.
Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business and two years of analytical experience; or equivalent education/experience.
Preferred two years of progressive analytical experience within alcohol beverage or consumer packaged goods industry.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Planning and organizational skills to coordinate multiple assignments.
Ability to interpret and summarize data, identify key insights and business implications.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Proven ability to design and implement new tools, models, and templates.
Ability to streamline processes to create efficiencies.
Experience working directly with systems developers is an asset.
Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworking and other business areas.
Physical Demands
Sitting and typing/keyboard usage for prolonged periods.
Walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
Occasional lifting, lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20 lbs.
