We are looking for a dedicated Paint Prep Technician (Prepper) to be an integral part of the daily operations at our You will be responsible for the proper preparation of auto vehicles prior to application of refinish coatings.
You will operate paint machines and tools, and will use the specified paint mixes, primers and sealers in accordance with automotive engineering specifications, painting procedures and standards. The Paint Prep Technician may have an advanced skill set including light body repairs and paint refinishing (Paint Technician).
Experience of working within the collision repair industry
Excellent customer service skills
Strong knowledge of automotive/equipment preventative maintenance, refurbishment and repair practices and procedures Proficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of Body Shop Connect preferred
Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
* Detail oriented approach with an emphasis on Quality control
* Strong awareness of safety practices and procedures
** What You’ll get:
*** The salary band for this position ranges from $75,000 to $90,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
