We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer‑oriented Automotive Parts Advisor to join our team in Toronto. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional service by assisting customers in identifying and sourcing the right automotive parts and accessories for their needs.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the automotive industry and excel at providing excellent customer service. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining smooth operations within the parts and service departments, collaborating with service advisors and technicians to ensure we deliver an exceptional guest experience for every guest, every time.

And you’ll do this in a facility where you will have the opportunity to interact with, and learn from, colleagues working at 8 different dealerships serving 11 brands.

Here’s what you’ll be doing
  • Customer Service & Sales:
    • Greet and assist walk‑in customers, phone inquiries, and online requests with professionalism and enthusiasm.
    • Accurately identify and recommend appropriate automotive parts and accessories based on customer needs.
    • Provide expert advice on product compatibility, pricing, and availability.
    • Educate guests on any additional parts required to complete repairs in order to manage Guest expectations and to elevate the Guest experience.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain a well‑organized and up‑to‑date parts inventory system.
    • Conduct regular stock checks, place orders, and ensure timely restocking of high‑demand items.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to address backorders, returns, and warranty claims.
  • Technical

    Collaboration:

    • Partner with automotive technicians to identify the precise parts needed for repairs and maintenance tasks.
    • Stay informed about the latest automotive technologies, parts updates, and recalls.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Process customer transactions, quotes, and invoices with accuracy.
    • Manage core returns and warranty claims according to company policies.
    • Keep records of parts sales and inventory movements to support reporting and analysis.
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Attend training sessions and workshops to expand your knowledge of automotive products and systems.
    • Stay current with industry trends, product developments, and manufacturer updates.

You need these qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and parts, with prior experience in a parts or service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic computer applications.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • You can manage your time well, prioritizing responsibilities while paying strong attention to detail.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with no demerit points.
It would be nice if
  • Experience with Nissan or aftermarket parts departments.
  • Familiarity with Reynolds & Reynolds.
